Time tracking doesn't have to be a cumbersome process. With Nureti, a simple workflow with manager approval is achievable, fostering accountability and ensuring accurate project costing. This guide focuses on the essential steps to implement this process.

Setting up the Workflow

The core of manager approval lies in configuring user roles. Nureti offers flexible user management, including Administrator, Super User, Normal User, and groups with assigned roles. To enable approval, assign "Normal User" roles to team members who need approval for their time entries. The Administrator or a designated Super User would act as the approver.

1. User Role Assignment: Within Nureti’s user management section, assign appropriate roles to each team member. See the User management page for details.

3. Enable Approval: Within Nureti's settings, enable the "Registration approvals" feature. This triggers the approval process for Normal Users.

Approving Time Entries

Once a Normal User submits their time entries, the approver receives a notification.

1. Review Entries: The approver logs into Nureti and navigates to the pending approvals section.
2. Approve/Reject: The approver reviews each entry, selecting either "Approve" or "Reject." Rejected entries return to the user for correction.
3. Complete: Upon approval, the time entry is finalized and contributes to project costing and reporting. The administrator also has the option of assigning a team manager User management.
