Service Technicians - Track your time on the go!

Let me show you how Nureti can support different types of jobs.
This time, let's look at the role of a Service Technician.
Example:
Jane Smith is working as a Service Technician, in a company selling and servicing industrial cooling systems.
Her work includes, for example, service checks, installations and repair of the costumers equipments.
During her working days she drives between different costumers and locations.
She has to document the work she's doing as well as her working hours and travel time.
She typically uses a phone or a tablet, to register these things.
Before Nureti, she had a notebook, that she used to note everything in . Sometimes she forgot to log her travel time, and sometimes she forgot the book at the office. She really needed an easier and more reliable way to track time.
The Nureti system
Janes manager had made sure that the existing costumers are already registered in the system, as well as the most common work task. This makes it even easier for Jane to register her time quickly.
You can setup the Costumers as Projects - and the actual work you do (repair, installation, travel) as tasks.
This can be done in advance, just as Janes manager has done, or on the spot, just before you start your work.
Fx. if it's a new costumer, you can set it up on-site, before you begin your work at the costumers place. While discussing the job, you might have to add a new task too. Once this is done, the system is ready for you to continue using and you can start tracking your time.
Some tasks could be installation, repair, inspection, or consultation.
Also "transportation" could be one of the tasks alleready set up.
Track your driving time
When Jane sits in her car, for her first job of the day, she start the stopwatch. As soon as she arrives at the costumers place, she stops it, select the costumer and the task setup for 'transportation' and saves. Now the time is registered for the time she spend driving to the costumer - simple and accurate
Track your work
Now she has arrived at the first costumer of the day. Jane now starts the stopwatch again, as she starts working. Today she needs to repair a cooler. When the job is done, she stops the stopwatch, selects the costumer and the Repair task, she notes what materials she used and how much - so it's ready for the invoice.
Now this job is done.
Then she gets in her car and starts the stopwatch again - on to the next costumer.
What do you think?
Isn't that easy?!
Whether you are a solo technician or part of a larger service team, Nuerti helps you easily track your time correctly!
