We’re Tina and Carsten Blum, the founders of BlumIT – and like many others running a business, we found ourselves in desperate need of a fast, effective, and simple time tracking solution.
Well maybe desperate is overselling it a bit, but you get the point. We came from something similar to MS Access build in 1998.
The problem? We couldn’t find one we actually liked.
Every tool we tried felt clunky, slow, or overly complex. Time tracking became a chore – something that got in the way of our work, instead of supporting it. So, in early 2024, we decided to do what developers do: we built our own.
We called it Nureti. At first, it was just for us – a streamlined, intuitive time tracking system designed to fit our workflows, not the other way around. But it quickly became more than that. We realized we weren’t the only ones frustrated by the tools out there. So in April 2025, nureti.com was made public.
From day one, our focus has been clarity, speed, and flexibility. We’ve built Nureti using state-of-the-art technology, but what matters most to us is that it feels invisible – time tracking that just works, with fast onboarding and seamless integration into the way you already work.

Oh and why is it called Nureti, asked no one ever? It is simply Nu (slang for New) Register Time - Nureti. :-)
